SBC Teller
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Follows established policies and procedures to perform routine teller duties.
- Processes deposits to customer accounts, including verifying cash, endorsements, and providing receipts.
- Cash checks for customers and non-customers.
- Properly records the sale of monetary instruments (e.g., official bank checks).
- Files all government-mandated reports related to large cash transactions and the sale of all monetary instruments.
- Engages in the sales process by identifying potential financial needs and making appropriate referrals to the platform staff.
Basic Administrative Functions
- Prepares and processes cash orders as directed.
Job Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the hours of operation of the Bank.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Basic knowledge of keyboard and computer skills.
- Basic arithmetic operations with the use of a calculator.
- Basic business acumen and professionalism.
- Builds strong relationships and alliances across the organization, exceeds customer expectations, adapts to change, is reliable, and highly motivated.
- Reliable transportation.
- Able to adapt to new job locations and re-assignments as directed.
- Fluent in written and verbal English.

Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Up to one year of teller or cash handling experience with accurate balancing record.
- Customer service experience and/or sales experience preferred.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Normal business office environment.
