SBA Relationship Manager

Responsibilities

  • Generate new relationships and service existing commercial clients.
  • Evaluate client needs and align with appropriate bank products.
  • Perform underwriting for proposed transactions and present to appropriate parties for approval.
  • Carry approvals to closing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) relatable area or commensurate additional SBA lending and/or portfolio management experience.
  • 2 years SBA lending or portfolio management in a financial institution, with hands-on experience in loan underwriting and analysis.
  • Understanding of principles of financial analysis.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of SBA SOP (most recent version) and Servicing SOP.
  • Good customer management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Ability to analyze and present a credit request in line with Bank policy and SBA SOPs.

Preferences

  • 7a Lender Diploma through the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders

Pay

The minimum and maximum projected annualized salary for this position is: $104,771.41 to $173,691.72. Additional compensation may be possible based on experience and skills.

Schedule

This position is eligible for our hybrid remote work and will work in the Tysons Corner, VA office four days per week.
