SBA Closing Officer

About the role

This position originates loans from application to closing and works closely with Escrow, Title, and all parties involved. It also underwrites and processes new loan requests, manages new and existing clients, assists with loan packaging and closing, coordinates with the Closing Manager for loan sales to the secondary market, certifies SBA GL accounts as needed, and complies with the Bank's security program.

Responsibilities

• Review and comply with SBA and Bank regulations
• Correspond with customer's request relating to SBA generated accounts
• Certify SBA GL Accounts as needed
• Report suspicious activities to manager, Chief Risk Officer, or Information Security Officer
• Manage new and existing clients
• Packaging and closing of all loans generated by SBA Department
• Coordinate and assist with Closing Manager for Loan sales to secondary market
• Underwrite and process new loan requests

Requirements

• College degree preferred but not required
• Bank experience preferred but not required
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Ability to respond effectively to inquiries and customer complaints
• Excellent analytical skills
• Knowledge of functions and usage of computer systems relevant to the job
• Good knowledge on safeguarding the Bank against confidential data leaks, identity theft, fraudulent activities, and computer security threats

Qualifications

• Education: College degree preferred but not required
• Experience: Bank experience preferred but not required

Benefits

The salary range for this full-time position is $26.45 Hourly - $40.87 Hourly + bonus + benefits. Salary ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location. Exact compensation may vary based on your skills and experience.
