Sawyer (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Set up the work area by adjusting or loading stone slabs.
• Mark, cut, grind, sand, clean, or polish stone to meet specifications using hand and power tools.
• Filer grooved, contoured, and irregular stone surfaces to conform to templates and blueprint specifications.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation in compliance with safety procedures.
• Safely operate a variety of power tools including table saws, chop saws, and more.
• Lift and carry stone slabs safely (35-50lbs), ensuring proper handling at all times.
• Stand for extended periods and work with hands for prolonged durations.
• Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and maintain the highest standards of quality.

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous Sawyer experience is a must.
• Experience operating park-saberjet machinery.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic understanding of fractions, measurements, and mathematics.
• Knowledge and experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Forklift operations certification (or ability to obtain within one year).
• A valid driver's license and clear criminal record check.

The Sawyer plays an essential role in producing high-quality stone countertops for our valued customers.
