Saw Room Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Saw Room Operator to join our team. This position is available on the second shift, Monday through Friday, with significant shift differential pay.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material for processing
• Operate a water jet cutting machine (computer knowledge)
• CNC & NC related machine operator (operate)
• Operate specialized saws
• Problem-solving with mechanical ability (Industrial mechanical knowledge)
• Ability to work on multiple routine operations/tasks
• Complete documentation (Logging hours)
• Basic math/arithmetic
• Work under limited supervision
• Manual dexterity
• Familiar with industrial & machinery
• Know-how to use measuring tools (Micrometer, calipers, and etc)
• Lift 50 + lbs.
• Bending & standing for long periods of time
• Multi-tasking
• Take initiative
• Fine motor skills
• Attention to detail
• Accuracy

Requirements

• Must be able to wear Steel toed shoes
• Must be able to wear Latex/Nitro gloves
• Great attendance
• Strong work ethics

Qualifications

• High School, Trade schools, or Equivalent
