About the role
Metal Fab shop Saw Operator in Cranston, RI. Schedule: Monday–Friday 6:00 am–2:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Cut materials using various types of saws as required by shop router and blueprints (primarily large metal tubes and square tubes).
- Read measurements and work from blueprints and designs.
- Store finished product properly.
- Operate large table saw for cutting large metal material.
- Replace dull or damaged saw blades and lubricate machines.
- Verify dimensions of stock cutting and accuracy of cuts against blueprint.
- Maintain a neat and clean work area.
- Work in accordance with OSHA Safety Regulations; wear proper safety equipment in required areas.
- Follow scheduling systems and receive material per procedure.
