Saw Operator

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of manufacturing activities including materials, shipping, receiving and operating light manufacturing equipment.
• Set up and operate radial, band, abrasive and cold saws, adjusting speeds and feeds for a wide variety of materials.
• Support storage of stock materials, identify and fill orders.
• Operate overhead cranes and may require obtaining a forklift operator’s license.
• Work safely as a top priority and maintain awareness of safety protocols.
• Work from technical documents including blueprints, written specifications, charts, and tables.
• Maintain high-quality work efficiently and identify opportunities for continuous improvements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior manufacturing experience (6 months preferred).
• Physical demand requires frequent lifting, moving, or turning average weight material; may be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions.
• Ability to use personal computers, data management systems, and software.
• May require a forklift operator license.

Pay

Pay Range: $20.61/hr to $22.81/hr. Participation in Annual Incentive Program.
