Saw Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate power saws to cut, trim, and modify wooden pallets.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow all safety procedures, policies, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Meet production goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with other shop and production duties as assigned.
• Work overtime when needed to support business demands.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate power tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift and move 50–75 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and air particulates.
• Strong hand-eye-foot coordination and good balance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, construction, lumber, or a related field is preferred.
