About the role
We are seeking a Saw Operator to join our team in Benton Harbor. This position operates on a Monday–Thursday schedule from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am.
Pay
$15.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the CNC saw machine, adjusting for each job and monitoring for defects or issues.
- Properly pack and transport finished cut pieces.
- Accurately complete paperwork and data entry.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain equipment upkeep by completing preventative maintenance requirements.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- 1–2 years of CNC operations experience or 1–3 years of saw operating experience preferred.
- Understanding of production procedures.
- Ability to lift 50–70 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to stand and walk during the entire shift.
