Saw Operator

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team in Bryan, Texas. In this role, you will perform various production operations, ensure quality standards are met, and contribute to overall manufacturing process efficiency in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment that includes heavy lifting and working with your hands.

Responsibilities

• Operate saw equipment in production
• Utilize production reports to assist in production planning
• Ensure overall quality of work produced
• Read and utilize a tape measure accurately to 1/32”
• Perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Convert fractions to decimals
• Read and interpret common written instructions
• Use computerized equipment

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds continually, including above shoulder height and below the waist
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces for long periods
• High school diploma or GED preferred
