Saw Operator

Direct Start is partnering with a reputable manufacturing company seeking an experienced Saw Operator. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating a Marvel saw and will be able to work on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 6 am – 4 pm with the potential for overtime on Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Marvel saw to cut various materials according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to determine cutting requirements
• Adjust saws to ensure accurate and precise cuts
• Inspect materials for defects and make necessary adjustments to the saw
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Meet production quotas and deadlines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience operating a Marvel saw
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
• Strong attention to detail and ability to make precise cuts
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good communication skills
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Schedule

1st shift, Monday through Friday, 6 am – 4 pm with potential overtime on Fridays.
