Responsibilities

• Place aluminum into age racks following proper nesting specifications and verify piece counts.
• Inspect material for cut length and other potential defects when racking.
• Cross-train in other positions within the department.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, contributing to continuous improvements.
• Ensure production requirements and standards are met or exceeded daily.
• Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care.
• Report any machinery issues to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing experience in industrial production is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand production documents and safety manuals.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
• Attend all safety and production trainings.

Essential Physical Functions

• Ability to work on the production floor with exposure to dust, fumes, odors, loud noise, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Capable of standing for extended periods with frequent stooping, bending, reaching overhead, and sufficient manual dexterity to perform all aspects of the job.
• Ability to lift and move parts and equipment up to 100 pounds in a team lift.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts primarily standing.

Schedule

12-hour continental shifts (6 p.m.–6 a.m.).

Pay

Competitive pay with a $1.00 extra per hour perfect attendance bonus and a $1.50 per hour night shift differential.
