Saturday Youth Soccer Coach

About the role

Soccer Shots is a program that introduces soccer to children aged 2-10 in various settings across San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties. We are expanding and seek enthusiastic part-time instructors to lead weekly sessions.

Responsibilities

• Coach anywhere between 5-20 sessions per week based on experience and availability
• Commit to a 10-12 week long season
• Lead sessions on weekdays from Monday through Saturday, with times ranging from 25 to 45 minutes
• Work in multiple locations within the San Joaquin and Stanislaus County areas
• Use provided training, equipment, and curriculum materials

Requirements

• Professional communication, timely responses, and a clean appearance
• Dependable and experienced in engaging and leading young children
• Comfortable being playful and creative with young children
• Patient and empathetic, willing to address behavior and learning challenges
• Preferred soccer skills as a player or instructor, but not required
• Able to pass a Live Scan background check and health screening

Location

We are seeking coaches to cover the San Joaquin and Stanislaus County area. Coaches are not required to travel throughout the county; they can work in neighboring cities.
