About the Role
Jersey College is seeking Registered Nurse Instructors who have a passion for teaching and are dedicated to fostering student success in our Nursing Program. This role involves providing clinical instruction and guiding students' professional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
- Create a clinical environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
- Prepare student progress reports and grade reports.
- Maintain accurate and timely attendance records.
- Evaluate student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
- Implement evaluation devices to measure student learning and clinical experience progress and competency.
- Attend faculty meetings.
- Maintain professional qualifications through continuing education, in-service training, and academic courses.
- Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration.

- Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse that contributes to student learning.
Qualifications
- MSN required.
- Valid State RN License required.
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.
