Satellite Communication Systems Specialist

Enlisted Soldier – Active Duty, Army Reserve, Army National Guard – Entry Level. Bonuses up to $13K may be available.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and operate satellite communication systems and technical control facilities.
• Configure and troubleshoot equipment to ensure reliable transmission and reception of data, voice, and video signals over satellite links.
• Keep the entire Army updated, informed, and situationally aware.

Requirements

• Be a U.S. citizen.
• Ages 17 to 42.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Meet tattoo guidelines.
• No major law violations.
• No medical concerns.
• Eligible for a Secret Security Clearance.
• ASVAB Score: 107 in Electronics (EL).

Training & Certifications

• 10 weeks of Basic Training.
• 26 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.
• Opportunity to earn 57 nationally recognized certifications.
