About the role
TPAPT, a national consortium of locally-owned and operated tutoring and college advising programs, is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven SAT Tutor to work with students in grades 9-12 in the Catonsville, MD, community.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions in person at a neutral location (like a library) or at the client's home.
- Work with students in grades 9-12 on all sections of the SAT.
- Show expertise in SAT content, strategy, and scoring.
- Apply demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to enhance student performance.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
- Earned Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience in test preparation instruction of all sections of the SAT
- Demonstrated expertise in the SAT including content, strategy, and scoring
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
