SAT Math Coach/Instructor Class 101

About the role

We are seeking a part-time ACT/ SAT coach/instructor to provide test prep in a classroom setting. Classes are 2 to 3 times weekly when our courses are in session. Classes are taught during the evenings and on Saturday mornings. This position will primarily teach classes in our Stuart, FL office and may occasionally fill in at our Port St. Lucie, FL office.

Responsibilities

• Provide live instruction and online resources to enhance test-taking skills
• Teach classes in a classroom setting
• Work independently and report regularly
• Analyze diagnostic reports and provide prompt and individualized feedback
• Communicate and work with students and administration

Requirements

• Positive Attitude
• Dependable - brings consistency to the position
• Technology fluency
• Strong math skills, including geometry, algebra 2, and pre-calculus (English Reading/Writing skills are a plus.)
• Successful completion of Class 101’s instructor training
• Ability to work independently and report regularly
• Willingness to receive and implement instructional feedback
• Deep belief in the potential of all students and a deep commitment to helping students reach their full potential
• Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills to motivate others
