Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
- SAS Administration
- Ensure optimal operation of the SAS Analytics Environment.
- Provide user support and guidance on best practices for developing analytics processes, models, and programs.
- Manage user access and permissions through SAS Management Console ensuring secure data access.
- Maintain and support in-place programs; troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Manage SAS product installations, upgrades, and configurations.
- Configure SAS output channels and manage system integrations.
- Research and recommend enhancements in SAS software and supporting hardware.
- Maintain disaster recovery procedures and ensure data resilience.
SAS Architecture
- Support high-memory, enterprise-wide SAS environments across multiple business units.
- Design scalable and high-performance SAS infrastructure.
- Collaborate with developers and analysts to implement advanced analytics solutions.
- Ensure system architecture supports future growth, compliance, and best practices in BI and data warehousing.
Technical Skills & Requirements

- SAS Cost and Profitability Management with strong Finance Domain Knowledge
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide SAS environments
- Strong understanding of Relational Database Design and Data Warehouse Architecture
- Expert-level SQL and database experience (Oracle, MySQL, Teradata)
- Advanced knowledge of SAS analytical tools: statistical analysis, forecasting, predictive modeling, data mining
- Solid grasp of systems, networking, and storage infrastructure
- Hands-on experience installing SAS software and patches on UNIX environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Agile methodologies
- Experience with BI fundamentals using SAS
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and business units
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
