Join Our Upscale Retirement Community in Saratoga! Become a valued part of our vibrant, 5-star, 94-bed Skilled Nursing Facility at Saratoga Retirement Community. We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate team members to join our supportive and dynamic community!
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered, individualized, direct care to residents in the facility and promote resident wellbeing and satisfaction through support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Promote resident independence to the greatest degree possible.
- Develop knowledge on state and federal regulations and community policies and procedures.
- Are constantly aware of safety and follow up on identified risks.
- Communicate with residents, families and team members effectively and be able to individualize communication to accommodate resident specific needs.
- Complete assigned duties such as, but not limited to; activities of daily living (ADLs), showers, socialization time with residents, mealtime duties, maintaining neat resident spaces, medication administration, replenishing supplies, providing clean linen, and transporting residents to appointments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all completed tasks and ADLs as soon as possible.
- Attend all required in-services and training in compliance with state and federal guidelines and facility protocols.
- Support current certifications with any required continuing education.
- Participate on the resident care team by identifying personal preferences of residents, maintaining the highest achievable level of functioning, and informing nursing leadership with critical information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a nursing home, senior living facility or in a caregiver role.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records and clinical software systems.
Pay
Pay Rate: $20-$24 DOE
Schedule
Hours may vary based on departmental needs.
