About the role
Seeking a seasoned SAP Warehouse Management (WM) functional consultant who has successfully delivered end-to-end WM implementations and can provide practical guidance throughout an active project. The candidate should demonstrate SAP WM experience and tenure supporting warehouse operations.
Requirements
- Completed end-to-end SAP WM implementations, including responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience with requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, go-live support, and production stabilization.
- Functional knowledge of inventory management, receiving, storage, and material movement processes.
- Experience partnering with business stakeholders and translating operational requirements into SAP WM solutions.
- Ability to mentor, guide, and transfer knowledge to internal resources.
- Relevant food manufacturing, food processing, supply chain, or distribution industry experience.
The strongest candidates will demonstrate hands-on SAP WM functional expertise, successful implementation experience, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to support and guide internal resources.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, integrate, implement, and support SAP applications.
- Configure, install, test, and troubleshoot software and system updates.
- Ensure applications are stable, compliant, and delivered on time.
- Analyze business requirements and create technical specifications.
- Develop, code, test, debug, and document complex applications.
- Manage and prioritize system enhancements and defect fixes.
- Support technical testing and troubleshooting.
- Provide expert guidance and resolve complex technical issues independently.
- Conduct strategic software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support to ensure smooth, stable, and timely implementation of new software and updates.
- Assist with the strategy and technical planning of system/application technology in accordance with internal and external software compliance standards.
- Independently analyze business requirements and prepare detailed technical specifications to write applications and programs.
- Independently perform advanced and highly complex programming, coding, and documentation of systems and applications software.
- Compile and prioritize enhancements and defect resolutions to applications, implementing changes.
- Independently conduct or advise others in technical software testing and debugging of systems and software applications, as needed.
- Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems.
Pay
$75/hr - $84.48/hr on W2 (DOE)
