About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP UI5 Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP UI5/Fiori application development. The ideal candidate will independently own the UI development lifecycle, write high-quality code, and collaborate with functional and technical teams to build scalable, enterprise-grade solutions on SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP UI5/Fiori applications based on business requirements.
• Develop responsive and reusable UI components using SAPUI5 controls, MVC architecture, data binding, routing, and fragments.
• Build applications from scratch instead of relying solely on standard Fiori apps or configuration.
• Work independently throughout the complete application development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Integrate UI5 applications with SAP backend services using OData V2/V4, REST APIs, and SAP Gateway.
• Consume and understand CDS Views to develop efficient and high-performance applications.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers to design and optimize backend services.
• Develop applications on SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) using modern SAP development practices.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Follow SAP Fiori Design Guidelines and best coding practices.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Participate in technical discussions, solution design, estimation, and sprint planning.
• Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support deployment, defect resolution, and production enhancements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP UI5/Fiori application development.
• 6+ years of strong hands-on experience in SAP UI5 development.
• Expertise in developing custom UI5 applications.
