About the role

The SAP Transportation Management (TM) Practice Director is responsible for leading the development and implementation of transportation strategies that optimize supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role requires extensive experience in managing complex transportation projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive transportation strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Manage and mentor a team of transportation professionals to ensure project success
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align transportation solutions with broader business goals
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in transportation management
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to senior leadership on transportation-related issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in transportation management, including experience with SAP TM
  • Proven track record of successfully leading transportation initiatives and projects
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization
  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in transportation management, including experience with SAP TM
  • Leadership experience in managing large-scale transportation projects
  • Experience with advanced analytics tools and techniques
  • Experience leading diverse teams and driving organizational change

Pay

Salary range: $180,000 - $220,000 annually
