About the role

In this role, you will identify and define user/customer requirements, focusing on developing user interfaces (UI) across various platforms such as mobile, web, and tablets. You will be responsible for creating software components and services that interact seamlessly with upstream and downstream components, ensuring that business requirements are met through effective coding and programming.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the final product meets their needs.
- Designing and developing user interfaces that are not only functional but also enhance user experience.
- Writing clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectives.
- Working with key stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on SAP system capabilities.
- Initiating requirement gathering, architecting solutions, blueprinting, testing, completing workflow and documentation, as well as functional design of the solution.
- Liaising with stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into business solutions and complete configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Regular travel may be required to meet with clients, providing the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Four-year bachelor's degree.
- Typically no less than 2-4 years in a relevant field, specifically working on integrations with SAP systems.
- Experience designing and implementing SAP integration scenarios using tools such as SAP PI/PO, SAP CIG, and SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Trading Partner Management, Advanced Event Mesh, Edge Integration Cell).
- Experience with non-SAP integration platforms (e.g. MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience building interfaces using APIs (OData, SOAP), events, ABAP proxies, RFCs, IDocs and file-based integrations.
- Experience developing integration architectures and strategies that ensure data quality, consistency and system integrity.
- Experience working with integration adapters such as OData, SOAP, AMPQ, AS2, AS4, Ariba, JMS, HTTPS, JDBC, IDoc, SFTP, Process Direct, MAIL, and XI.
- Familiarity with integration security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
- Knowledge of integration monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, Splunk).
- Experience building B2B integration scenarios following EDI standards (e.g. ANSI X12/EDIFACT).
- Experience with cloud integration platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of database management systems and data modeling concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address integration challenges and optimize processes.
- Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working in cross-functional teams (development, operations, business) to build and design holistic integration architecture solutions.
- Prior consulting industry experience or deep functional experience.
- SAP certification(s).
- Experience with at least one full cycle implementation of your core module.

Pay
- Base salary range for all geographic locations in the US: $102,500 to $187,900.
- Base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento): $122,900 to $213,400.
- Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
Schedule
Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Regular travel is estimated at 40-60%.
