Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring the final product meets their needs.
Design and develop user interfaces that enhance user experience.
Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications supporting business objectives.
Initiate requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprint, test, document, and implement the functional design of the solution.
Liaise with stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into business solutions and complete configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
Work with key stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on SAP system capabilities.
Manage progress, monitor risks, and keep stakeholders informed about progress and expected outcomes.
Build relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.
Engage in agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
Develop integration architectures and strategies ensuring data quality, consistency, and system integrity.
Build interfaces using APIs, events, ABAP proxies, RFCs, IDocs, and file-based integrations.
Experience with cloud integration platforms and services like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Build B2B integration scenarios following EDI standards (ANSI X12/EDIFACT).
Experience with database management systems and data modeling concepts.
Communicate effectively, present ideas, and build client trust.
Travel to meet client needs, estimated at 40-60%.

Requirements

A four-year bachelor’s degree.
No less than 2-4 years of relevant experience, specifically working on integrations with SAP systems.
Experience designing and implementing SAP integration scenarios using tools such as SAP PI/PO, SAP CIG, and SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Trading Partner Management, Advanced Event Mesh, Edge Integration Cell).
Experience with non-SAP integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica).
Hands-on experience building interfaces using APIs (OData, SOAP), events, ABAP proxies, RFCs, IDocs and file-based integrations.
Experience with integration adapters such as OData, SOAP, AMPQ, AS2, AS4, Ariba, JMS, HTTPS, JDBC, IDoc, SFTP, Process Direct, MAIL, and XI.
Familiarity with integration security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
Experience with integration monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, Splunk).
Experience with cloud integration platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of database management systems and data modeling concepts.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
Complex problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

On your typical engagement, you will work with key stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on SAP system capabilities.
You will initiate requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprint, test, complete the workflow and documentation, as well as the functional design of the solution.
You will liaise with stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into business solutions and complete configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
You will demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and possess strong business acumen.
You will demonstrate ability to assimilate new knowledge.
You will consistently deliver quality client services.
You will monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
You will establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.
You will be flexible and willing to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.
You will ideally have experience working in cross-functional teams (development, operations, business) to build & design holistic integration architecture solutions.
You will have prior consulting industry experience or deep functional experience.
You will have experience working on at least one full cycle implementation of your core module.

Pay

Base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $102,500 to $187,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $122,900 to $213,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

Schedule

Most people in external, client serving roles work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you'll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You'll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
