Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring the final product meets their needs.
Design and develop user interfaces that enhance user experience.
Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications supporting business objectives.
Engage with stakeholders to translate needs into business solutions and complete configurations/integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
Initiate requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprint, test, complete workflows, and document functional designs.
Manage progress, monitor risks, and keep stakeholders informed about project status and outcomes.
Build relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.
Deliver quality client services through agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Develop integration architectures and strategies ensuring data quality, consistency, and system integrity.
Build interfaces using APIs, events, ABAP proxies, RFCs, IDocs, and file-based integrations.
Work with integration adapters like OData, SOAP, AMPQ, AS2, AS4, Ariba, JMS, HTTPS, JDBC, IDoc, SFTP, Process Direct, MAIL, and XI.
Implement integration security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
Use integration monitoring and troubleshooting tools like SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, Splunk.
Develop B2B integration scenarios following EDI standards (ANSI X12/EDIFACT).
Work with cloud integration platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Build and design holistic integration architecture solutions in cross-functional teams (development, operations, business).
Participate in at least one full cycle implementation of core modules.

Requirements

A four-year bachelor’s degree. Typically, no less than 2-4 years of relevant experience, specifically working on integrations with SAP systems. Experience with tools like SAP PI/PO, SAP CIG, SAP Integration Suite, and non-SAP integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica). Hands-on experience with APIs (OData, SOAP), events, ABAP proxies, RFCs, IDocs, and file-based integrations. Experience with integration adapters, security best practices, monitoring tools, and EDI standards. Knowledge of database management systems and data modeling concepts. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills. Complex problem-solving abilities.

Benefits

Comprehensive compensation and benefits package including medical and dental coverage, pension, 401(k) plans, and flexible vacation policies. Base salary range for this role in the US is $102,500 to $187,900, with higher ranges in certain areas.

Pay

The base salary range for this role in the US is $102,500 to $187,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $122,900 to $213,400.

Schedule

Most people in external, client-serving roles work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year. Employees are granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed.
