About the role
The opportunity is to provide clients with a unique business perspective on how SAP technology can enhance their operations. This involves leveraging EY’s expertise in various SAP modules like Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer Solutions, Technology & Architecture, and SuccessFactors to assist clients in improving performance and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate business models, processes, and operations with business stakeholders.
- Gather, understand, and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Analyze newly implemented technology solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.
- Lead workstream delivery and ensure effective management of processes and solutions.
- Track deliverable completion and project status, ensuring alignment with performance objectives.
- Participate in client working sessions, leading workstreams from planning through execution and closure.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant SAP experience, including hands-on delivery within SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Demonstrated expertise in supply chain planning processes (demand, supply, S&OP) and their translation into scalable SAP solutions.
- Proven experience leading SAP IBP workstreams, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Experience leading client workshops, design sessions, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams.
- Consistently deliver quality client services. Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep key stakeholders informed about progress and expected outcomes.
- Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.
- Strong understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC) and enterprise architecture principles.
Qualifications
- Ability to architect and deliver supply chain solutions across technology landscape.
- Proven experience delivering at least one full lifecycle SAP IBP implementation, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Experience leading SAP project workstreams and managing onshore/offshore team members within a consulting or client-facing environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes (forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimization, S&OP) and their translation into SAP IBP solutions.
- Experience integrating SAP IBP with S/4HANA, including data models, interfaces, and planning area design.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead client workshops, design discussions, and solution walkthroughs.
- Ability to assess client requirements, identify solution options, and support the development of scalable, fit-to-standard SAP architectures.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
- Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.
- Experience leading client-facing design workshops and driving decision-making with senior stakeholders.
- A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.

Pay
Base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $142,600 to $261,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $171,200 to $297,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
Schedule
Most people in external, client serving roles are expected to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
