About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic SAP Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end supply chain planning, manufacturing and operations solutions during a full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation project. This critical role involves architecting scalable solutions that integrate supply chain operations, manufacturing operations, quality processes, costing, subcontracting, and advanced planning capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive business process analysis and requirements gathering workshops with manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement, and planning stakeholders.
- Evaluate all business requirements and come up with solutions that provide an integrated approach for SAP customers.
- Design and oversee integration between SAP IBP and S/4HANA systems, including ATP, GATP, inventory, production data, and master data flows, with an in-depth knowledge of ABAP development and a good understanding of SAP modules such as Finance, MM, PP, QM, SD, PLM, and APO.
- Design and architect robust, scalable, and efficient SAP Supply Chain solutions, developing detailed blueprints and strategic roadmaps from design through delivery.
- Configure and customize core SAP modules, including Master Data (BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, Production Versions), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), Shop Floor Control/Production Execution, Repetitive Manufacturing, and Capacity Planning.
- Ensure seamless integration between core SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution) and FI/CO (Finance) with planning and supply chain operational processes.
- Develop and manage comprehensive data migration strategies for relevant master and transactional data (e.g., BOMs, routings, quality specs, production orders) from legacy systems.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, configuration guides, and end-user training materials.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
- Knowledge of supply chain management concepts - forecasting, planning, sourcing, optimization and logistics or equivalent.
- 8+ years of SAP Solution Architecture experience with participation in multiple full-cycle implementation projects is expected.
- Expertise in core SAP S/4HANA functional area is essential with experience in SAP technical sizing & design, installation, upgrade and S/4HANA migration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of discrete and/or process manufacturing best practices, quality standards (e.g., ISO), and integrated business planning concepts is critical.
- Experience implementing solutions related to manufacturing execution, cost calculation, subcontracting, and IBP integration within SAP environments is required.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven leadership abilities are important for mentoring and collaboration within cross-functional teams.
- Relevant SAP certifications, such as the SAP Certified Application Associate - Production Planning & Manufacturing with SAP S/4HANA or the SAP Certified Application Associate - Quality Management with SAP S/4HANA, are highly preferred.
- Experience with other SAP solutions like SAP DM Digital Manufacturing, EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), or IBP (Integrated Business Planning).
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private.
Pay
- Base salary range: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually (location: USA, WA, Seattle).
- Additional compensation includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
- Final compensation determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
