Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional support and configuration for MM, PP, and FI modules in the current ECC6 landscape.
- Apply prior S/4HANA experience to guide solution design, data readiness, and process alignment for the upcoming migration.
- Support end-to-end business processes including:
- Quote-to-Cash (Q2C)
- Forecast-to-Produce (F2P)
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications.
- Identify opportunities to streamline supply chain and manufacturing workflows in MTO/MTS environments.
- Recommend future-state S/4HANA capabilities and best practices to improve efficiency and data visibility.
- Participate in ECC6 enhancement projects and lead functional workstreams for the S/4HANA migration.
- Develop and execute test plans, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure the smooth deployment of new functionality.
- Provide day-to-day support for SAP users across operations, supply chain, finance, and production.
- Create documentation and training materials, and deliver engaging end-user training sessions.
- Utilize prior experience with SAP Fiori apps to support role-based access, tile configuration, and an improved user experience.
- Help drive the adoption of modern SAP UX tools as part of the S/4HANA transition.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA in a functional role.
- 5+ years of SAP experience in MM, PP, and SD.
- Strong working knowledge of ECC6 and its integration points.
- Experience working within manufacturing environments, specifically MTO/MTS.
- Deep understanding of integrated business processes across supply chain and finance.
- Experience with Fiori applications.
- Ability to write clear functional specs and collaborate effectively with technical teams (ABAP, Basis, Integration).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience with S/4HANA migration projects (brownfield or greenfield).
- Exposure to IBP, EWM, QM, or other advanced SAP modules.
- Background in discrete or engineered-to-order (ETO) manufacturing.
- Familiarity with SAP workflow, interfaces, and third-party integrations.
