SAP Solution Architect - Supply Chain
About the role
Packsize is redefining the way businesses and their customers use and experience packaging around the world. We build the technology, design the right solutions, and automate the processes that propel the industry forward. To us, packaging is much more than a box—it’s delivering what’s right for our customers, their customers, our people, and the planet.
What You’ll Do
- Provide day-to-day SAP ECC support across procurement, inventory, warehouse operations, and quality-related functions, including hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Support and enhance procurement processes, including PO lifecycle, source lists, info records, subcontracting, consignment, pricing conditions, GR/IR, and supplier master data alignment.
- Strengthen and optimize inventory and warehouse execution, including goods receipt, putaway, picking, staging, bin management, transfer orders, replenishment, cycle counting, physical inventory, batch/serial management, and handling units (if applicable).
- Improve integration between MM/WM/QM and upstream/downstream processes such as production, quality, shipping/logistics, and service/returns.
- Work directly with purchasing, warehouse, manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams to understand operational issues and translate them into practical ECC solutions.
- Streamline procurement and warehouse processes by reducing manual work, eliminating unnecessary customizations, and leveraging SAP standard best practices.
- Begin building the path toward S/4HANA, including:
- Identify MM/IM/WM/QM simplification items and functional deltas.
- Recommend clean-core approaches and process harmonization opportunities.
- Highlight where ECC technical debt and customizations will impact S/4 readiness.
- Document processes, functional and technical designs, mapping documents, and test scenarios in clear, business-friendly language.
- Collaborate closely with other SAP functional teams and developers; must have experience working with and managing contractors.
- Support testing cycles, cutover planning, hypercare, and continuous improvement initiatives.
