SAP SCM Planning Architect

We are seeking an experienced SAP SCM Planning Architect to support a strategic supply chain planning initiative.

About the role

The ideal consultant will have strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA solution architecture, supply chain planning processes, and integration with OMP (o9/OMP planning platform). The consultant will be responsible for defining and guiding the solution architecture, ensuring that SAP S/4HANA effectively supports the organization's planning processes while maintaining a Clean Core approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide solution architecture and technical leadership for SAP SCM planning capabilities.
• Analyze business planning processes and determine the appropriate functionality and architecture required within SAP S/4HANA.
• Lead the planning solution and integration between SAP S/4HANA and OMP.
• Design scalable and sustainable integration solutions aligned with Clean Core principles.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to translate planning requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Define integration architecture, data flows, interfaces, and system touchpoints between S/4HANA and OMP.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout solution design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Identify opportunities to leverage standard SAP capabilities while minimizing customizations.
• Ensure the proposed architecture aligns with SAP best practices and enterprise architecture standards.

Requirements

• Strong experience as an SAP SCM Planning Architect / Solution Architect.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and supply chain planning processes.
• Hands-on experience with planning solutions and OMP integration.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration architecture and data flows.
• Experience designing solutions based on SAP Clean Core principles.
• Ability to bridge business planning requirements with SAP technical architecture.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time consulting capacity.

Schedule

2 days per week through December 2026, with potential for extension.
