SAP Project Systems (PS) Functional Consultant

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced SAP Project System (PS) Functional Consultant to support a high-visibility DoD program. This is a client-facing role where you'll lead Project System workshops, drive solution design, and help organizations improve project planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting within an SAP S/4HANA environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project System workshops and facilitate discussions with business stakeholders, program managers, project controls teams, and finance organizations
• Drive solution design and configure SAP PS to meet client requirements
• Integrate external scheduling tools or Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) with SAP PS
• Write functional design documents, functional specifications, and UAT test scripts
• Support architecture, functional design, client advisory services, and delivery governance

Requirements

• 6+ years of SAP Project System (PS) functional configuration experience in an implementation or consulting role
• At least two full lifecycle SAP implementations
• Hands-on experience configuring Project Profiles, Coding Masks, WBS Templates, Standard Project Structures, Networks, Network Profiles, and Activity Types
• Experience integrating SAP PS with Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Controlling (CO), and Sales and Distribution (SD)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Up to 75% travel

Qualifications

• Deep expertise with WBS Structures, Network Scheduling, Scheduling Types, Relationships and Constraints, Reduction Strategies, Factory Calendars, and Milestone Planning
• Strong knowledge of Budget Planning and Control, Availability Control, Commitment Management, Cost Planning, Results Analysis, and Settlement Rules
• Experience with PS Progress Analysis, Earned Value Reporting, Progress Versions, Measurement Methods, and Progress Determination

Preferred Experience

• SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Project Systems or related SAP PS certification
• Active Security Clearance
• Department of Defense (DoD), aerospace, defense contractor, or government contracting experience
• SAP S/4HANA 2022 or 2023 Project System experience
• Experience with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), IPMD, and DCMA schedule assessments
• Familiarity with Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO), SAP PEO, SAP Fiori reporting, CDS-based analytics, SAP Financial Project Control (FPC), and Commercial Project Management (CPM)

Pay

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $145.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a Contract position based out of Neptune Beach, FL, with the option to work fully remote.
