SAP Project Manager/ Scrum Master

About the role

As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluate solution options, and make recommendations. You will plan activities including configuring the product according to the design, conducting conference room pilots, and assisting with resolving queries related to requirements and solution design. Additionally, you will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops, and prepare effort estimates that align with customer budgetary requirements and organizational financial guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute project activities, including configuration and pilot sessions.
• Support knowledge transfer to ensure value-adding consulting solutions that meet client needs.
• Facilitate daily scrums, product backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure alignment between Product Owner and team members on definitions of done and ready for user stories.
• Manage team capacity, noting vacations or other commitments, and discuss necessary sub-tasks for sprints.
• Collaborate with stakeholders as needed and ensure proper use of Scrum practices.
• Handle multiple scrum teams, manage release management, transport management, and service transition planning.
• Apply knowledge of Agile and Kanban models using Jira, ITIL processes, quality assurance, audits, continuous improvement, and automation.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
• At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in SAP Scrum Master.
• Experience in Product Backlog refinement and Sprint Planning.
• Knowledge of Release Management, Transport Management, and Service Transition Planning.
• Understanding of Agile and Kanban Models with Jira.
• Experience with ITIL processes, quality assurance, audits, continuous improvement, and automation.

Qualifications

Pay

Estimated annual compensation range for this role will vary by location:

• In CA / WA / NY / CO / MD / IL / MN: $73,000 - $102,200
• In Washington DC: $66,500 - $100,300

Schedule

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Communication by telephone, email, or face-to-face is required.

Location

This position is located in Bridgewater, NJ. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
