Objective:
EY seeks to provide clients with a unique business perspective on leveraging SAP technology to improve operations. This involves enhancing Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Arch, and SuccessFactors services.
About the role
As a Manager in Technology Analysis, you will manage and deliver complex technical initiatives, ensuring alignment with performance objectives. You will lead workstream delivery, track deliverables, and participate in client working sessions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver complex technical initiatives
- Track deliverable completion and project status
- Participate in client working sessions, leading workstreams from planning through execution and closure
- Assimilate new knowledge and consistently deliver quality client services
- Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep key stakeholders informed
- Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels
- Facilitate requirement gathering and lead design workshops during explore, configuration, unit testing phases; document functional specifications for design gaps during build phase; assist the client in all testing cycles; deliver training prior to go-live; and provide post go-live support
- Stay current with the annual releases of new Asset Management (Plant Maintenance) functionalities from SAP
- Collaborate within a team across workstreams (procurement, project systems, finance, quality management, production, materials management, warehouse management, supply chain, and IBP) to design, test, and deploy SAP solutions

- Multiple end-to-end life cycle implementations of SAP S/4 HANA or SAP ECC
- SAP Certification(s)
- Experience in industries such as manufacturing, utilities, mining and metal, or oil and gas (energy)
- Experience with one of the following additional licensed products: 3rd party planning and scheduling tools, 3rd party MRO master data governance tools, SAP service and asset management (mobility), SAP field service management, SAP resource scheduling for maintenance planners (RSH), SAP business network asset collaboration, SAP asset performance management, SAP spatial asset management, SAP work clearance management (lock out tag out), SAP geographical enablement framework, SAP environmental health & safety
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree)
- No less than 4 - 6 years’ relevant experience working with SAP Asset Management/Plant Maintenance (PM)/Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills
- Strong understanding of Asset Management principles and practices
- Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based team members
- Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, peer company environments and prior advisory experience relevant to industry specific finance and technology functions
- Experience in managing client relationships and expectations
- Prior consulting industry experience

Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $142,600 to $261,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $171,200 to $297,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
Schedule
Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
