Expectations and Tasks
- Partner with the client to analyze and define business requirements, processes, and objectives to scope project and deliverables.
- Implement, customize, and test solutions on client systems and develop client-specific enhancements to meet business requirements as needed.
- Prepare, design, realize, and support Go-Lives for customer implementation projects.
- Support feasibility studies and process design reviews.
- Detailed planning of process implementation.
- Detailed blueprinting for development requirements.
- Develop and assure quality of process models.
- Demonstrate profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools.
- Support the development of overall project plans (scoping process) as well as individual work plans; act as liaison with client for troubleshooting (investigates, analyzes, and solves software problems).
- Analyze and map clients’ business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs.
- Support the NA Services Organization with implementation projects, pre-sales support (estimating), spot consulting, and internal projects and commit to the success of customers, partners, colleagues, and SAP.
- Up to 50% travel may be required (when travel returns to normal pre-COVID levels).
Qualifications/ Skills and Competencies
- Minimum 8 years of consulting experience, Graduate degree a plus.
- Involved in at least 2 full cycle implementations of SAP S/4HANA Production Engineering and Operations.
- Experience with Discrete Manufacturing & Core Logistics business processes in S/4HANA Manufacturing, production planning, execution, logistics, and quality management a plus.
- Prior experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and SAP Complex Assembly Manufacturing Solution (CAMS) a plus.
- Formal SAP certification preferred.
- Aerospace & Defense industry experience.
- Knowledge of SAP’s Design to Operate (DTO).
- Experience with SAP Implementation Methodologies (ASAP, Activate, Sprints, Advanced Deployment, etc.).
- Customer-facing experience with strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels within client company.
