About the role
The Industry Transformation Advisory (ITA) Engagement Lead Architect role will lead innovation and digital transformation initiatives for SAP NS2’s most strategic customers in the Regulated Industries Federal and DOD market areas. Responsibilities include creating strategic and tactical roadmaps for digital solutions SAP offers while developing compelling business cases to guide customer strategic decision-making. This role provides comprehensive advice on long- and short-term opportunities for key strategic imperatives and recommends innovations anticipating future business and IT directions in the Finance area.
- Facilitate collaborative architecture discussions with customer IT and business executives
- Work effectively across multiple functions and teams to define clear requirements to achieve business outcomes
- Analyze key business and IT requirements in the Finance area
- Develop strategic roadmaps encompassing the evolution of enterprise business solution portfolios from current to future state
- Identify improvement potentials for selected lines of business
- Influence transition states toward joint business outcomes building on SAP solution value
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation — able to lead customer engagements at an executive level
- Proven excellent knowledge in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and cloud solutions with principal consulting skills in at least one functional area (e.g., Plan to Produce, Acquire to Retire)
- Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to estimate the financial impact of various solution architecture alternatives
- Sound knowledge of discovery phase engagements and estimation methods
- 10+ years of SAP solution experience
- 15+ years consulting experience
- 12+ years of solution and/or architecture (business & IT) experience
- MBA preferred
- Must be a US Citizen; this position requires access to customer data

Pay
The targeted annual combined range for this position is $151,900–$340,900 USD, inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target. The actual amount offered will depend on education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, and other key aspects. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, with actual payout dependent on company and personal performance.
