SAP MM/PP Functional Analyst

About the role

The SAP MM/PP Functional Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting and maintaining SAP Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) processes across the organization. This position focuses on managing material master data, collaborating with various departments, and driving continuous improvement through process optimization and system enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain SAP MM and PP processes across the organization
• Manage and maintain material master data to ensure accuracy and consistency across SAP and related systems
• Partner with Finance, Quality, R&D, Procurement, Production, Shipping, and Inventory teams to support business needs
• Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements and efficiencies
• Troubleshoot SAP-related issues and provide timely solutions for end users
• Develop and maintain documentation, process flows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Support data governance initiatives to ensure data quality and integrity
• Generate reports and analyze data to support operational and strategic decision-making
• Aid in SAP enhancements, testing, implementations, and system upgrades
• Train and support users on SAP processes, best practices, and new functionality
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with company policies and data governance standards

Requirements

Experience supporting SAP MM and/or PP modules, strong understanding of material master data and ERP system processes, experience working within manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain, or production environments, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, ability to translate business requirements into system solutions, experience with data management, governance, and reporting, knowledge of shipping, inventory, procurement, and manufacturing processes, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong understanding of SAP MM and PP modules, experience working within manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain, or production environments, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, ability to translate business requirements into system solutions, experience with data management, governance, and reporting, knowledge of shipping, inventory, procurement, and manufacturing processes.
