SAP Integration Cutover Engineer
About the role
This role leads and coordinates cutover planning and execution activities for enterprise ERP deployments and releases within Ford’s Integrated ERP (I-ERP) program. I-ERP is a multi-year program modernizing Finance and Purchasing business processes and applications to drive operational efficiency and material cost reduction by adopting industry-leading practices. I-ERP touches on several Ford+ Points including, but not limited to, Modernize Everywhere and Partner for Experience and Efficiency. This position provides candidates the opportunity to drive critical deployment activities, collaborate across cross-functional teams, learn various aspects of complex SAP implementations, and gain deep technical and integration expertise.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist in the planning, preparation, and execution of system and business cutovers for I-ERP
- Create, manage, and maintain Gantt charts, deployment plans, system refresh plans, milestone charts, and integration timelines
- Coordinate cross-team system preparation, execution of build, load, and data validation activities
- Support daily cutover operations, including preparation of daily cutover status reports and monitoring task execution
- Monitor, manage, and track cutover defect reports, issue task initiation, and defect resolution through completion
- Support the coordination of activities across a broad ecosystem including system integrators, SAP functional experts, technical leads, and legacy systems teams
- Facilitate business team engagement and ensure clear, timely stakeholder communication throughout the cutover lifecycle
- Drive cross-functional alignment and resolve complex technical and operational issues during cutover execution
- Maintain a deep understanding of overall solutions and end-to-end dependencies across multiple systems to ensure seamless project delivery
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a technology-related field
- 5+ years of experience in SAP as either a Functional or Technical resource
- Solid understanding of the SAP landscape, SAP Transport Management System (TMS), and Change Request Management (ChaRM)
- Strong understanding of system builds, deployment planning, environment refresh processes, and cutover execution
- Proven project management skills with proficiency in project planning tools and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional alignment and drive teams through complex technical and operational issues
- Proven ability to manage key relationships among diverse stakeholders involved in an upgrade or large-scale enterprise implementation environment
- Strong understanding of end-to-end technical solutions and cross-system dependencies
- SAP Certification is preferred

Pay
This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.
