SAP HANA / BW/4HANA Consultant

Job Overview

Design, develop, and implement enterprise data warehousing and reporting solutions using SAP HANA Modeling, SAP BW/4HANA, and Smart Data Integration (SDI).

Key Responsibilities

• Gather reporting, analytics, and data integration requirements from business stakeholders.
• Design end-to-end SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Develop and optimize SAP HANA:Calculation Views, CDS Views.
• Develop SAP BW/4HANA data models, including ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views.
• Design and implement SDI/ETL processes. Extract, transform, and load data from SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, SQL procedures, SQL scripts.
• Perform performance tuning for Queries, Data loads, Data processing, System scalability.
• Support reporting tools and dashboards by providing clean and reliable data models.
• Perform Unit testing, Integration testing, Data validation.
• Prepare Technical design documents, Data flow diagrams, Support documentation.
• Support BW 7.5 on HANA to BW/4HANA migration projects.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SAP HANA Modeling.
• Expertise in SAP BW/4HANA Modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Smart Data Integration (SDI) and ETL processes.
• Experience with ABAP.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL.
• Knowledge of SAP BODS.
• Strong understanding of Data warehousing concepts, Performance tuning, Reporting architectures.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of experience with:
• SAP BW/4HANA
• SAP HANA
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across different organizational levels.
• Pharma or Manufacturing industry experience is highly desired.
