SAP Finance Delivery Lead - Life Sciences

About the role

Accenture’s SAP practice is expanding its Life Sciences team to deliver SAP‑based Finance Transformation projects that drive operational efficiency across R&D, supply chain, and regulatory functions. The role involves originating, selling, and delivering end‑to‑end SAP Finance solutions for Life Sciences clients, leveraging modern cloud, AI‑enabled, and SAP Business AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage senior Finance executives to discuss business challenges, trends, and the value of current and future SAP solutions.
• Lead customers in defining their SAP journey by developing business cases, roadmaps, proposals, and client presentations.
• Architect end‑to‑end Finance solutions that incorporate SAP technologies, custom applications, and partner add‑ons.
• Explain SAP’s Business AI strategy, its capabilities, and roadmap; identify functional areas where AI can add real value.
• Deploy AI use cases within SAP delivery to improve efficiency and articulate AI‑driven project enhancements.
• Advise, design, and deliver Finance solutions based on industry and technology best practices, embedding innovation.
• Lead large project teams (50‑100 people) in global delivery models, both onsite with clients and within Accenture.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, internal teams, and Accenture leadership by staying current on regulations, trends, and innovations.
• Develop thought leadership assets, best practices, and mentor the next generation of transformation experts.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years experience as a Delivery Lead for large SAP Finance and Life Sciences transformation programs (SAP support/managed services experience not considered).
• At least 4 end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA implementations for Finance and Life Sciences, including planning, estimation, and solution architecture.
• Experience managing large SAP delivery teams (50‑100 people) in a Global Delivery model.
• Strong ability to translate client goals into clear, actionable outcomes and to stay ahead of SAP platform, industry, and Finance trends.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience). An Associate’s Degree is acceptable with at least 6 years relevant experience.

Travel

Travel may be required and can range from 0 % to 100 % of the time, depending on business needs and client requirements.

Compensation

Annual salary ranges (varies by location and other factors):

• California: $132,500 – $338,300
• Cleveland: $122,700 – $270,600
• Colorado: $132,500 – $292,200
• District of Columbia: $141,100 – $311,200
• Illinois: $122,700 – $292,200
• Maine: $112,900 – $249,000
• Maryland: $132,500 – $292,200
• Massachusetts: $132,500 – $311,200
• Minnesota: $132,500 – $292,200
• New York: $122,700 – $338,300
• New Jersey: $141,100 – $338,300
• Virginia: $122,700 – $311,200
