SAP FICO Product Costing

About the role

Location: Santa Clara, CA – 100% onsite. Duration: 9 months to 1 year. The role requires an SAP FICO Product Costing resource with experience in Actual Costing, Material Ledger, Production Order Processing, and Month End close.

Responsibilities

• Perform SAP FICO product costing activities including Actual Costing, Material Ledger, Production Order Processing, and Month End.
• Configure and maintain SAP FICO modules (Product Cost, COPA, GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Security/Roles & SOD).
• Integrate FICO with MM, SD, PP, APO, and BW functional areas.
• Work with non‑SAP finance applications such as Concur, Blackline, One‑Source, and AP Invoice Automation tools.
• Architect solutions that evaluate IT changes and improve finance & accounting operations.
• Manage change control, release management, and third‑party application integrations.
• Demonstrate project management skills, strong communication, collaboration, and analytical abilities.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of SAP ECC 6.0 / S/4HANA experience focused on FICO modules.
• At least 10+ SAP FICO implementation projects (functional and technical).
• Strong SAP FICO configuration/technical skills, especially in Product Costing.
• Understanding of finance & accounting business processes and ability to assess IT impact.
• Expertise in SAP FICO areas: Product Cost, Actual Cost, Material Ledger, Production Order Processing, Month End, COPA, GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, SAP Security (Roles & SOD).
• Experience with non‑SAP finance tools (Concur, Blackline, One‑Source, AP Invoice Automation).
• Ability to architect integrated solutions across MM, SD, PP, APO, BW.
• Experience with change control, release management, and third‑party application integration.
• Project management experience, strong verbal/written communication, collaboration, detail‑oriented, analytical.
• Bachelor’s or BS degree in Finance.
