SAP FICO Consultant - Group Reporting

Responsibilities

• Act as a business consultant to help customers achieve their objectives by being an excellent communicator who understands the importance of communication in a consultant's role.
• Problem solve with an extraordinary technical and functional understanding of Accounting Principles along with SAP products.
• Support end users from a functional and/or technical perspective and work closely with end users and business partners to analyze and review their business requirements or processes.
• Troubleshoot and configure SAP FICO including integration points with other modules and cross functional design/build of other modules.
• Work on multiple projects as a project team member or team lead.
• Lead fit/gap and other types of working sessions to understand needs driven by business process requirements.
• Translate requirements into solutions, using SAP Best Practices.
• Prepare clear and concise documentation, as well as provide timely status updates.
• Proactively identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues. Assess corporate impacts of changes and recommend strategies to senior management.
• Provide knowledge transfer to clients and fellow consultants, in formal and ad hoc settings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years of SAP FICO experience with a detailed understanding and experience with financial closing and consolidation.
• Strong accounting/finance background.
• Experience in the project lifecycle from requirements gathering, solution design, realization, testing, go-live preparation, and execution, as well as hyper-care.
• Hands-on SAP Analysis for Office experience.
• Hands-on S/4HANA experience, including use case of standard Fiori applications.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptional design thinking skills.

Qualifications

• CPA
• Strong knowledge and experience of financial closing and consolidation processes.
• Basic knowledge of Group Reporting.

Pay

The base compensation range for this full-time position is between $110,000 - $130,000 plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications and, as applicable, other required qualifications.
