SAP FICO Analyst

About the role

SAP FICO Remote position with travel to Dover, DE, full‑time. The role requires proven allocation experience within SAP FICO, with a preference for utilities industry background supporting SAP Finance processes in utility or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute allocation cycles, assessment/distribution methods, cost center allocations, profit center allocations, and activity‑based allocations.
• Configure SAP FI and CO modules, leveraging SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Ensure integration of SAP FICO with MM, SD, PP and other SAP modules.
• Gather requirements, perform fit‑gap analysis, and prepare functional designs.
• Conduct testing, defect management, troubleshooting, and provide production support.
• Maintain SAP master data, financial postings, document types, posting keys, tax configuration, payment processes, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and offshore/onshore teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant or SAP Finance Functional Consultant.
• Proven allocation experience within SAP FICO (key requirement).
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP FI and CO configuration and business processes.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Solid knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and CO‑PA.
• Experience with SAP FICO integration with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.
• Utilities industry experience is a plus (experience supporting SAP Finance processes within utility companies or regulated utility environments).
