SAP ECC Technical Architect

About the role

This role offers the opportunity to be the sole SAP Technical Architect within a newly established IT organization dedicated to supporting core manufacturing and ERP operations. You will play a crucial role in stabilizing and managing the SAP environment, collaborating closely with stakeholders to optimize SAP functionalities and oversee third‑party integrations. As the technical lead, you will also have the chance to shape the direction of the SAP team as the organization expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary SAP architect and technical lead, responsible for the overall health and architecture of the SAP environment.
• Support and optimize core SAP ECC module functionality to enhance manufacturing and invoicing processes.
• Design and maintain third‑party integrations, ensuring seamless communication between SAP and external systems.
• Act as a hands‑on SAP Administrator and Super User, managing day‑to‑day technical operations and user support.
• Lay the technical groundwork to scale the SAP team as the organization grows.

Required Qualifications

• Deep technical architecture experience in SAP ECC (7.4/7.5) environments, with a focus on manufacturing processes.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP integrations, including IDocs, APIs, and middleware.
• Strong working knowledge of MS SQL Server and its application in SAP environments.
• Experience in managing core ERP workflows, particularly in order‑to‑cash and invoicing.
