SAP Development and Integration Leader

About the Role

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking an experienced leader to guide a team of SAP development and integration professionals in a global support model for the Consumer Products business. This role provides technology leadership and partnership to deliver solutions that enable strategic business needs, ensuring core business platforms are reliable, efficient, and sustainable. The ideal candidate brings proven IT leadership with a strong track record in delivering solutions, building trusted relationships, and leading SAP development and integration teams. Success requires both strategic vision and hands-on leadership to ensure operational excellence.

As a key member of the Consumer Products IT team, you will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to close solution gaps, identify opportunities, and lead efforts to influence, design, and implement improvements across people, process, data, and technology. These solutions will enhance and optimize business systems while advancing Georgia-Pacific’s strategic objectives and overall business performance.

Our Team

The SAP Technical Delivery team supports and advances Georgia-Pacific Business Segment priorities through collaborative partnerships with business and IT stakeholders to drive business outcomes. The team focuses on leveraging technology and applying Principled Based Management (PBM) to enable value aligned with strategic goals.

Location

This is a hybrid role based at Georgia-Pacific Headquarters in Atlanta, GA, requiring at least 3 days in the office per week. This role is not open to visa sponsorship or transfer, including for current visa holders with EAD.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Principled Based Management and apply the 5 Dimensions to build a high-performing organization.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to the team while fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Guide delivery in a highly integrated environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Leverage SAP expertise to lead your team in delivering and supporting business capabilities and solutions with effective process and discipline to enable and preserve value.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand strategies and priorities, translating them into technical solutions that create value and enable business outcomes.
• Develop effective relationships to become a trusted and reliable partner, managing relationships with clear communication.
• Lead your team in scoping, planning, and executing support, enhancements, and project delivery.
• Align resources for the delivery of support and initiatives.
• Align with SAP roadmaps, explore technology and AI capabilities to advance business and team outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in SAP Development as a manager or leader, including both support and implementation of solutions for an end-to-end SAP ERP environment using waterfall and agile delivery models.
• Hands-on leadership experience with SAP development and a strong understanding of SAP capabilities; ability to align stakeholders around shared outcomes.
• Experience as a resource manager with leadership skills and a demonstrated commitment to talent development, cross-training, and building resilient, high-performing teams capable of sustaining operations.
• Experience collaborating with IT and business teams to align technology solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring visa transfer or sponsorship.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Experience working in a matrixed organization.
• Experience leveraging BTP (Business Technology Platform) capabilities to implement solutions.
• Experience with enterprise integration platforms or API-first architecture.
• Experience with AI/GenAI for personal productivity and enabling business strategies.
• Experience implementing observability and monitoring of technical solutions.
