SAP Developer - Level 3 - BW

About the role

Cintas is seeking an SAP Developer – Level 3 for the SAP BW team in IT. This role involves working on major projects spanning a broad range of systems, providing subject matter expertise and technical direction. The developer will collaborate with customers, Business Analysts, and team members to understand business requirements and design quality technical solutions aligned with business and IT strategies, while ensuring compliance with organizational architectural standards.

Responsibilities

• Application analysis, design, development, integration, and enhancement for SAP systems.
• Address complex support issues and provide guidance on SAP BW development.
• Review and guide the development team’s work on SAP BW architecture and data modeling (LSA/LSA++).
• Perform SAP BW administration, including process monitoring, performance tuning, and incident resolution.
• Deliver functionality on time, on budget, and to meet business needs throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Build SAP HANA calculation views and HANA SQL.
• Improve operational support processes.
• Communicate technical and business issues/solutions to all levels of management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign educational equivalent) or equivalent based on education and/or experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BI/BW application development and implementation for SAP, including one or more of the following: SAP ECC 6.0 integration, SAP BW 7.x, SAP HANA, BEx 7.x, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, SAP CRM, SAP SCM, or ABAP Programming.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP BW architecture and data modeling (LSA/LSA++).
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP BW administration (process monitoring, performance tuning, and incident resolution).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the entire Software Development Life Cycle, delivering functionality on time and on budget.
• Minimum 2 years of experience building SAP HANA calculation views and HANA SQL.
• Minimum 1 year of process improvement experience for operational support.
• Minimum 1 year of experience communicating technical and business issues/solutions to all levels of management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the development, implementation, and management of a Business Intelligence Architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Experience with SAP SLT replication.
• Experience with SAP BPC.
• Experience with ODP-based extractors.
• Deep and broad exposure to both infrastructure and cross-functional technologies.
