SAP BTP Technical Lead – CAPM/RAP

Job Title: SAP BTP Technical Lead - CAPM/RAP Job Details Location: Raritan, New Jersey (NJ), USADuration: 6 monthsExperience Required: 8-10 yearsEssential Skill: Technical LeadDesirable Skill: SAP Ariba Roles and Responsibilities Design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) and RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP). Build custom business applications and APIs on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Develop Core Data Services (CDS) views, behavior definitions, and RAP business objects. Create SAP Fiori/UI5 and Fiori Elements applications. Design and implement side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA using SAP BTP. Develop and expose REST and OData services. Integrate SAP and non-SAP applications using SAP Integration Suite. Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance SAP BTP solutions aligned with business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical architectures and implementation strategies. Manage the full solution delivery lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Ensure code quality, application performance, security, and adherence to development standards. Support SAP S/4HANA extensibility through side-by-side extensions, in-app extensions, and key-user extensibility. Required Technical Skills Hands-on experience with SAP CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model). Strong expertise in SAP RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model). Development experience with Node.js and/or Java. Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS). Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud. Expertise in CDS views and data modeling. Experience developing and consuming OData V2 and V4 services. Strong experience with SAP Fiori Elements and SAPUI5. Knowledge of SAP BTP application development and deployment. Experience with SAP Integration Suite and application integration. SAP S/4HANA Extensibility Side-by-side extensibility using SAP BTP. In-app extensibility within SAP S/4HANA. Key-user extensibility. Integration of custom applications with SAP S/4HANA. Development of scalable APIs and extension applications.
