SAP BTP Platform Lead // Remote

SAP BTP Platform Lead / Integration Hub (EIH) – Contract Duration: 3 months (likely extension) Location: Remote Job Description We are seeking a senior SAP BTP Platform Lead / Administrator to support a new Enterprise Integration Hub (EIH) initiative. This role will focus on platform-level ownership across SAP BTP and Azure, enabling and governing external API-based integrations across customer and vendor ecosystems. This is not a development role. The ideal candidate will operate as a technical lead and platform owner, driving standards, supporting integration teams, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing API operations. Key Responsibilities Lead SAP BTP platform administration, including subaccount management, service enablement, security, and connectivityOversee Azure application layer integrations supporting SAP and non-SAP systemsSupport and govern external API integrations (customer/vendor-facing, high-volume traffic)Define and enforce platform standards, including:Security (authentication, authorization, certificates)Monitoring and observabilityTraceability and loggingLoad/performance testingLong-term scalability and sustainabilityPartner closely with:SAP platform teamsIntegration and development teamsEnterprise architectsApplication ownersAct as a technical escalation point, guiding teams on best practices across BTP and AzureEnsure alignment between enterprise integration strategy and execution Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP platform administrationSubaccounts, destinations, IAS, connectivity, service provisioningExperience supporting SAP Integration Suite / API-based integrationsSolid exposure to Microsoft Azure (App layer, networking, integration patterns)Experience managing external-facing APIs at scale (high volume / high velocity)Proven track record defining platform governance and standardsStrong understanding of:Security frameworks (OAuth, SAML, certificates)Monitoring/logging toolsAPI lifecycle managementAbility to work cross-functionally with technical and functional teams Nice to Have Experience with Enterprise Integration Hub (EIH) or similar API hub modelsExposure to SAP S/4HANA landscapes and hybrid environmentsFamiliarity with event-driven architecture / Event MeshPrior experience in a Platform Lead or Architect role Best Regards Suman (Sue) Technical Recruiter Global Business Ser 4u Inc.
