About the role
As a Package Consultant 2, you will contribute to ERP customization and implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and validate specifications to align with business objectives and ERP capabilities.
- Contribute to solution architecture design by customizing ERP modules and features based on detailed business requirements.
- Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews, and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance.
- Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications.
- Assess ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and ensure compliance with security measures and regulatory standards.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer.
- Lead technical discovery, gap analysis, and solution mapping for seamless migration and business continuity.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define governance, DevOps, and operational support models for cloud-based integration.
- Support post-migration operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of integration solutions.
- Manage freeze periods, emergency changes, retrofit activities, and decommissioning of systems during upgrades and migrations.
Requirements
- Experience in complex SAP environments, including 2+ full lifecycle S/4HANA BTP migration or conversion projects.
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-native integration solutions using SAP BTP services.
- Experience rebuilding, refactoring, and optimizing legacy PI/PO interfaces and workflows for deployment on SAP BTP.
- BTP Fiori OData Services development and Integration Suite experience.
- Experience in performance metrics, troubleshooting, and documenting requirements for internal/external consulting.
- Knowledge of Release Management and Transport Management concepts and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (or three years of progressive experience in the specialty for each year of education).
- This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project locations.
- Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship.
Skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems and integration techniques, with a sector focus on manufacturing.
- Ability to handle end-to-end ERP package customization and implementation.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks.
- Hands-on coding experience and a passion for design.
- Collaborative spirit and excellent communication with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.
- Planning and coordination skills for managing upgrades, migrations, and system changes.
Preferred Experience
- Strategic adviser and architect role experience with a focus on enterprise technology, finance, supply chain, and IT.
- Experience working with leading solution providers in SAP integration technologies and cloud migration projects.
Pay
- CA / WA / NY / CO / MD / IL / MN: $73,000 to $102,200
- Washington, DC: $66,500 to $100,300
