SAP BTP CPI Technical Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated SAP BTP – IS / CPI Consultant with a passion for the manufacturing industry. You will assist in various projects related to SAP BTP - CPI implementation tasks, working closely with a team of experienced professionals to implement and support SAP BTP-CPI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integration flows (iFlows) using SAP CPI.
• Configure and maintain the SAP BTP-CPI module, including inbound and outbound interfaces between cloud and on-premise or cloud instances of SAP products.
• Configure and extend standard iFlows; define custom iFlows, local and exception sub-processes, and exception handling.
• Work with various integration adapters in SAP CPI (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST Adapters) to exchange messages between sender and receiver.
• Develop value mappings and Groovy scripts for use in iFlows.
• Handle data conversions (e.g., JSON to XML, CSV to XML) and use CPI pallet options (integration patterns like message transformations, enricher, splitter).
• Manage security artifacts, encryption, decryption mechanisms, and SSH keys.
• Design and develop EDI integrations and API management solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications developed using SAP CPI.
• Create test data, run tests, and execute test scripts.
• Monitor system performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend enhancements.
• Act as a liaison between client business functions and the technical team; mentor and guide junior team members.
• Proactively identify and propose business process and system enhancements.
• Provide solutions to business users based on issues and requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing integration flows (iFlows) using SAP CPI.
• Hands-on functional configuration and design experience with SAP CPI iFlows and APIM.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP HANA Cloud Integration, and SAP Process Orchestration.
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector and CPI cockpit.
• Experience in greenfield implementation projects (end-to-end implementation) is preferable.
• Strong client handling, communication, and debugging skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems with reverse engineering skills.
• Knowledge of interfaces and cross-module integration.

Pay

Base salary range: $140,000 to $170,000 per annum.
