SAP Basis Technical Analyst

About the role

The SAP Basis Technical Analyst is responsible for performing day-to-day technical tasks for a project, including all project activities. Duties may span all Practice Areas involved (i.e., Design/Build/Run, Operations Architecture, System Administration, Database, ERP and other technical frameworks, etc.). The Basis Technical Analyst will serve as the individual providing expertise in a specific area and troubleshooting and issue resolution for moderately complex environments. The Basis Technical Analyst will be a moderately experienced member of the basis technology team who will be responsible for providing support for the technical infrastructure of the SAP solution across all production stacks along with daily system monitoring and issue resolution. This individual will have the opportunities to do some project work.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical input for all maintenance requests that are entered into project-identified change management.
• Performs all activities related to technical maintenance and administration of the SAP environments.
• Provides SAP HANA support.
• Provides SAP DBA and limited OS support as it relates to the SAP Landscape.
• Provides proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of the SAP Landscape.
• Develops and maintains appropriate documentation for system activities and ensures change control is followed as necessary.
• Participates in application updates and upgrade projects.
• Performs system refreshes.
• Conducts performance tuning.
• Participates in on-call support rotation.
• Handles technology issues and escalates as necessary to expert level help.
• Executes projects when requested.
• Implements process improvement measures within the environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Production SAP environment
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with RDBMS Management
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Operating Systems/knowledge of system commands and structures
• Applicant will have access to export-controlled material and must be a US citizen

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Pay

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role in Tampa, FL and will require three days per week in the office. May consider qualified candidates in Tampa, FL or Columbus, OH.
